RESOLUTIONS.

No. 35.

Passed Mar. 24,
1838.

Resolution directing the Treasurer of the Western
Shore to pay to Springfield Academy the sum of one
hundred and fifty dollars.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised to pay to the Trustees of Springfield
Academy, or their order, the sum of one hundred and
fifty dollars out of any unappropriated money in the
Treasury.

No. 36.

Passed Mar. 24,
1838.

Resolution in favour of Ann Laurentz.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised and required to pay to Ann Laurentz, of
the city of Baltimore, the widow of Vandel Laurentz,
a soldier of the revolution, the half pay of a private
during her life, as a further remuneration for the ser-
vices of her said husband.

Passed Mar. 27,
1838.

Resolution relative to Hereford Academy.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised and directed to pay to the Trustees of
Hereford Academy, or their order, annually the sum of
two hundred dollars, the sum heretofore drawn by the
Garrison Forest Academy, until the said academy
shall be rebuilt, for the proper use of said institution,
so long as the said trustees shall comply with the laws
and resolutions of the State on the subject of schools,
academies and colleges.
