Resolution in favor of the Members and Officers of
the Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is here-
by authorised to pay to the several members of the
Senate and House of Delegates, and to the several
members of the Joint Committee appointed by the last
Legislature to examine the affairs of the Penitentiary
of Maryland, their clerks and officers respectively,
or to their orders, the several sums of money now
due, or which may from time to time become due to
them, and for which they may obtain certificates from
the Chairman of the Committee on Claims of the
House of Delegates.

Resolution in favor of Adam Houk.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is
hereby directed to pay to the order of Adam Houk,
the son in law of the late Eleanor L. Mayhugh, the
