An act for the appointment of Commissioners to designate
a place of Election in the Salisbury District, in Som-
erset County.

Passed Mar. 30,
1838.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John Parsons, John Rider and Humphrey Hum-
phreys are hereby appointed commissioners, to desig-
nate and determine upon some suitable house in the
town of Salisbury, for holding all elections in said
election district, and the above named commissioners
are hereby required to report to the clerk of Somerset
county the place designated, on, or before the first day
of July next, to be recorded in the office of said clerk

A supplement to the act for the promotion of Internal
Improvement, passed at the adjourned May session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-six, chapter three hun-
dred and ninety-five.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the Treasurer
of the Western Shore to provide, in such manner as he
may deem most expedient for transmitting to Europe
and there disbursing securely and punctually, all such
sums of money as from time to time may be necessary
