SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be lawful
for the commissioners of said county to levy on the
assessable property of said county, such sum or sums
of money as may be necessary to defray the expense
of constructing the same, not exceeding the amount
they are now authorised by law to levy for like pur-
poses.

CHAP. 301.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That any acts, or parts of
acts, heretofore passed on this subject, are hereby re-
pealed.
CHAPTER 300.

Repeal.
|
|

An act to continue in force the acts of Assembly which
would expire with the present session of the General
Assembly.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all such acts or parts of acts, as would expire
with the present session of the General Assembly, be,
and the same are hereby re-enacted and continued in
force to the last Monday of December next, and to the
end of the session of the General Assembly thereafter;
provided however, that this act shall not extend to any
acts or parts of acts, which shall have been repealed,
or in any wise modified at the present session of the
General Assembly.

An act to alter the place of holding elections in the fourth
or Berlin district, in Worcester county.
|

1838.
|
|
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the place for holding all elections, after the pas-
sage of this act, in the fourth or Berlin district in
Worcester county, shall be held at the tenement or
house adjoining the tavern house of James Derickson,
in the town of Berlin, in said county, and all laws or
parts of laws inconsistent with this act, be, and they
are hereby repealed.
