An act allowing a Case to be reinstated in Baltimore
County Court.
|
|
|
May reinstate.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall and may be lawful for Baltimore county
court, sitting as a court of equity, to reinstate and
take cognizance of, in all respects, a cause lately pend-
ing in said court, of Boyd against Marsh and others.

An act supplementary to the act Incorporating the Tide
Water Canal Company, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and thirty -five, chapter three hun-
dred and forty.
|
|
|
May increase
capital to
$1,000,000.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the President and Directors of the Tide Water
Canal Company be, and they are hereby authorised to
increase the capital stock of said company one million
of dollars, by additional subscriptions thereto, or to
borrow that or any less sum which they may deem ne-
cessary for the purposes thereof, and receive and take
in payment of such subscriptions, or as money, in ne-
gotiating said loan, the bonds or funded debt of the
State of Maryland, or of the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, or stocks of any of the Corporations of
this State, at such rates as may be agreed on between,
the holders thereof and the said Tide Water Canal
Company.
