of acts inconsistent with this act be, and the same are
hereby repealed.

Order of Independent Odd Fellows, in Kent County.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William Parker, Nathaniel Crisp,
William. Vannort, James P. Harrison, John S. Dodd,
William Conyer, William Y. Pearce, Samuel W. Can-
nady, James 3. Ricaud, Benjamin F. Houston, Laur-
ence M. Ricaud, John W. Carroll, John Russell,
Thomas Edgar, Edwin Crouch, Samuel Tomblinson,
James W. Quimby, Elijah Quimby, Nicholas Vansant,
Richard Millington. Thomas Jones, Samuel A. Smith,
John Greenwood, Nathaniel Chaires, Solomon Start,
Ira F. Younger, William R. Glenn, Samuel L. Raw-
leigh, Rowland Bennett, William Bacchus and Frede-
rick A. Frazier, the officers and members of Philip
Reed Lodge No. 29, of the Order of Independent Odd
Fellows, in Kent county, and their successors, be, and
they are hereby declared to be a community, corpora-

tion and body politic forever, by the name, style, and
title of Philip Reed Lodge number Twenty-nine, of the
Order of Independent Odd Fellows, and by that name

hereafter be capable in law to have, receive and retain
to them and their successors, property, real and per-
sonal; also devises and bequests of any person or per-
sons, bodies corporate or politic, capable of making the
same, and the same at their pleasure to transfer or
dispose of in such manner as they may think proper;
