SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
shall be construed to prevent Baltimore county court
from being held during the said months, but that it
shall be the duty of one of the judges of said court to
continue in the city of Baltimore, to hold the courts
there, as now provided for by law.

An act to Incorporate the Watchmen's Beneficial Society
of Maryland.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, George Kandrier, junior, William Wright,
Richard Lawton, John Ditman, William Wilcox,
Thomas Potter, John McNeal, James Dukes, Joseph
Morrison, George Fogleman, William Lawton, Charles
Lawton, Richard Thomson, John Thomas, John Mar-
tingly, Benjamin Chancy, and others of the city of
Baltimore, have formed themselves into a society, un-
der the name and style of the Watchmen's Beneficial
Society of Baltimore, for the purpose of aiding and
assisting each other during sickness of themselves
or families, or when overtaken with misfortune,
and have petitioned the General Assembly of Mary-
land for an act of incorporation: — Therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the aforesaid members of the said so-
ciety, as well as those who hereafter, according to the
constitution and by-laws of the said society, shall become
members of it, be, and they are hereby created and
made a corporation and body politic, by the name and

real and personal property, as other corporations may
