An act to confirm an act, entitled, an act providing for
the appointment of Clerks of the several County
Courts, the Clerks of the Courts of Appeals for the
Eastern and Western Shores, the Clerk of Baltimore
City Court, and the Registers of Wills in the several
counties of this State.

Confirmation.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, at December session eighteen hundred and thirty-
six, chapter two hundred and twenty-four, entitled, an
act for providing for the appointment of clerks of the
several county courts, the clerks of the courts of ap-
peals for the Eastern and Western Shores, the clerk of
Baltimore city court, and the registers of wills in the
several counties of this State, be, and the same is here-
by ratified and confirmed, and made valid as a part of
the Constitution and Form of Government of the State
of Maryland, any thing in the said constitution and
form of government to the contrary notwithstanding.

A further supplement to an act, entitled, an act to pro-
vide for the instruction of youth in Primary Schools
throughout, this State, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter one hundred,
and sixty-two.

Clause repealed
as to Q. Ann's
county.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act all such
parts of the act, to which this is a supplement, as pro-
hibits the admission of white children into the primary
schools, throughout this State, above the age of fifteen
years, be, and the same is hereby repealed, so far as
the same relates to Queen Ann's county.
