An act for the benefit of Frederick Gardner, of Frede-
rick county.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Frederick county be, and they
are hereby authorised, in their discretion, annually to
levy a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars, for
the use of Frederick Gardner, of Frederick county, in
addition to the amount now allowed to him as a
pensioner by the county assessment.

more, from his wife Mary Ann Roberts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Samuel Roberts, of the city of Baltimore, be, and
he is hereby divorced from his wife Mary Ann Roberts,
a vinculo matrimonii.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of the Tax for
Carroll county, to borrow money for the erection of
the public buildings.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of the tax for Car-
roll county be, and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to borrow on the credit and faith of the county,
on the best terms, a sum of money not exceeding sixteen
