CHAP. 125.
Proviso.
|
penalty or forfeiture which he may have incurred or
in any manner be liable to or for, for joining in mar-
riage the said Abraham Hahn, and from all suits or
actions therefor; and that the said Samuel Huebener
may give this act in evidence under the general issue,
in any such suit or action; provided the said Huebener
shall pay all costs and legal charges accrued on said
case; and provided also, the court before whom the
said prosecution is pending, shall be of opinion that this
act does not interfere with any vested right of the
plaintiff or informer, then in that case the act shall be
so construed only as to release the said Huebener from
so much of said fine and forfeiture as shall accrue to
the State.

and others.

about the pre-
misses in St.
Mary's county.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, no licensed
retailer of spirituous liquors, in Saint Mary's county,
shall be held to answer for any violation of the suppos-
ed prohibition in the license laws of this State, which
forbids such licensed retailers to permit spirituous
liquors sold by them to be drunk in or about their pre-
mises, but that all such supposed prohibitions, so far
as they relate to Saint Mary's county, be, and the same
are hereby repealed.
