An act to authorise Nathan Nelson, Trustee of Michael
Mealy, to convey by deed to James Smith, certain
real estate therein mentioned.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
Nathan Nelson, trustee of Michael Mealy, deceased,
is hereby authorised to convey by deed the real estate
of said Mealy to James Smith and his heirs, the said
estate having been purchased by Eli Buckey, now de-
ceased, lor James Smith, as shown by the certificate of
the heirs of said Buckey, and that the said deed shall
be valid in law and in equity.

That Catharine Gowan be, and she is hereby divorced
from her husband James Gowan. a mensa et thoro.

An act for the relief and benefit of Samuel Huebener, of
Frederick county.

WHEREAS, the said Samuel Huebener hath been
sued in Frederick county court, in a qui tam action, by
one Elias Hahn, who prosecutes as well for himself as
for the State of Maryland, for joining in marriage a
certain Abraham Halm with one Catharine Ann Hahn,
&c. and in such suit is called Samuel Heibner: — Now,
therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said Samuel Huebener who is sued as in the
preamble hereto is recited, be, and he is hereby exone-
rated, released and discharged from any and all fine,
|
Released from
penalty.
