immediately after the passage of this act, hereby repealed,
so far as the same relates to Kent county.

CHAP. 82.
|
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the justices of the se-
veral magistrates' courts in Kent county, are hereby re-
quired to recognise the parties and the witnesses in the
several cases of assault and battery depending before them
at the time of the passage of this act, to appear before
Kent county court at their next regular session thereafter,
and file such recognizances with the clerk of said court.

An act to provide for the conveyance to the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore of certain Real Estate for public
use.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
are hereby authorised to receive conveyances from the de-
visees of Frederick Eiselin, late of Baltimore city deceased,
and from Lewis Weise, trustee appointed in and by the last
will and testament of the said Eiselin, of so much of the
real estate of which the said Frederick Eiselin died seized,
as the said devisees and trustee may deem proper and ad-
vantageous to convey to the said Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore for public highways or other public use.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said devisees and
trustee be and they are hereby authorised to make the con-
veyances of said part of the said real estate for the pur-
poses defined in the previous section.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That Eiselen Alley as laid
out on the plat of the real estate of the said Eiselen shall
be increased in width to thirty feet, and shall be called Ei-
selen street, and shall together with other highways which
may be established in virtue of this act, be subject to the
like rules and regulations as other public streets in the
city.
