All lime to be imported into, or export-

ed, &c. to be inspected and marked, desig-

nating the quantity and quality, &c. com-

pensation fixed, &c. manufacturer of lime

not compelled to have it inspected when

bought for manufacturing purposes, unless

where purchaser requires it, &c.

Penalty of $10 for buying or selling
lime not measured, &c.

If wagon driver, owner or agent prac-

tice any device in loading his wagon, or

selling in barrels, &c. to deceive inspec-

tor, &c. or after obtaining certificate, suffer

any part to be disposed of, or diminished,

and then sell or offer to sell, &c. to pay

When any person bringing lime, &c.

shall have delivered, &c. and it shall ap-

pear to buyer or receiver that fraud has

been used in the loading, &c. not known

to measurer, to complain to inspector, who

shall examine the same, and if satisfied his

first certificate was not correct, to make,

&c. and issue a new one expressing the

just quantity, &c. and if it appear that

fraud was intended, &c. owner, &c. to pay

$10,

ed in the purchase or sale of lime inspected

by him, except for his own use, &c.
