collect and pay into the Western Shore

Treasury $224 18, of the sums, &c. direct-

ed to be levied on Frederick and Baltimore

counties, together with interest, being the

residue of Carroll county's proportion for

the years 1837 and 1838, unprovided by

chap. 269, of 1838,

to be collected and paid into the Western

Shore Treasury, &c. $439 52 yearly, as

the proportion chargeable upon so much of

Frederick and Baltimore, as now consti-

tutes Carroll county,

gers of the State Colonization Society, in
pursuance of the second section of the act

of 1831, chap. 281, not to exceed $10, 000

in the current or any fiscal year, &c.

for the best price to be had, not less than

after 1890, to an amount not exceeding

$663, 196 66, in lieu of an equal amount

of five per cent, stock, authorised to be is-

sued by the act of December session 1838,

chapter 395, and now invested, proceeds,

&c. to be paid over by commissioner to

Treasurer,
