Resolution in favor of Benton H. Crockett.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer for the Western Shore, be and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to Benton H. Crockett, or
his order, out of any unappropriated monies in the treasu-
ry, the sum of three hundred and forty-three dollars and
eighty-four cents.

Resolution in favor of William Acker, of Carroll County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the armourer at Annapolis, be and he is hereby directed
and required to deliver to Captain William Acker of Car-
roll county, or his order, fifty rifles and accoutrements,
upon bond being given by him, to be approved by the Ad-
jutant General.

Resolution in relation to the Maryland Penitentiary.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the rules and regulations for the government of the Mary-
land Penitentiary, submitted by the board of directors
thereof, in their last annual report, dated nineteenth De-
cember, eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, pursuant to an
act of Assembly of December session eighteen hundred
and thirty-seven, chapter three hundred and twenty, be
and the same are hereby confirmed.
