1839:

said county have under the original acts of Assembly,
passed December session, eighteen hundred and twenty-
five, chapter one hundred and sixty-two, together with all
other supplements to said act.

CHAP. 184.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That after the trustees
have been duly elected as aforesaid, and shall have re-
ported themselves agreeably to the original act and its
supplements, as required to be done by other trustees of
primary schools, that the said trustees shall then be enti-
tled to and receive their respective distributions of all
school funds set apart for primary schools in said county,
according to the number of scholars by them reported in
their district.

CHAPTER 184.

A supplement to an act, entitled an act for the relief of the
German Reformed and Lutheran Congregations of Sa-
lem Church in Boonsborough, Washington County, pass-
ed December session eighteen hundred and thirty-four,
chapter sixteen.

Passed Feb. 29,
1840.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the election which was held by the Ger-

man Reformed congregation of Salem church, on the thir-
teenth day of December, eighteen hundred and thirty-nine,
and also the election which was held by the Lutheran con-
gregation of the same church on the twenty-sixth day of
January eighteen hundred and forty, for elders and dea-
cons of said congregation, are hereby declared valid, as
much so as if the same had been held in strict conformity
with the act to which this is a supplement.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That from and after the pas-
sage of this act, the German Reformed congregation and
the Lutheran congregation of the Salem church aforesaid,
are hereby declared and made separate and distinct bodies

German Reformed Congregation of Salem church, in Boons-
borough, and the Vestry of the Lutheran Congregation of
Salem church in Boonsborough, and that the said bodies
corporate under the name and style aforesaid, are hereby
each and separately, endowed with all the powers and
privileges conferred by the act to which this is a sup-
plement, upon the joint vestries of Salem church, in
Boonsborough.
