CHAP. 157.
|
Dental Surgery on any Dentist who may have rendered
service to the science, or distinguished himself in his
profession.
|

Charter to be
valid in law.
|
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this charter and act
of incorporation, and every part thereof, shall be valid in
law, according to its true intent and meaning, and shall
in all cases be so construed as to answer the ends of the
corporation in the advancement and promotion only of
|
|
|
|
Dental Science; provided however, that nothing herein
contained shall be so construed as to authorize or empow-
er said corporation to issue any note, certificate, token or
evidence of debt, to be used as currency.
|
|
|

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That the General Assem-
bly of Maryland reserves to itself the right to alter or an-
nul this net of incorporation.
|
|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That this act shall continue
and be in force for the period of thirty years, and no lon-
ger, from the passage thereof.

An act to divorce Charles Oscius from his wife, Louisa
Oscius.

Divorce.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Charles Oscius, of Allegany county, be and he is here-
by divorced from his wife Louisa Oscius, a vinculo matri-
monii.

An act to change the name of Sarah Boots, of Kent Coun-
ty, to that of Sarah Ingram.
|
|
|
Name changed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the name of Sarah Boots, of Kent coun-
ty, be and the same is hereby changed and altered unto
that of Sarah Ingram; and it shall and may be lawful for
the said Sarah Boots, at all times hereafter, to be called
and known by, and hold and use the name of Sarah In-
gram, and by that name to sue and be sued in any court
of law or equity.
