An act to alter and change the names of Joseph B.
Cahall and William Henry Cahall, illegitimate chil-
dren of Joseph B. Perry, of Talbot county, to Joseph
B. Perry and William Henry Perry.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the names of Joseph B. Cahall and
William Henry Cahall, illegitimate children of Joseph
B. Perry, of Talbot county, be, and they are hereby
respectively altered and changed, to the names of
Joseph B. Perry and William Henry Perry, and it
shall and may be lawful for the said Joseph B. Perry
and William Henry Perry, at all times hereafter, to
be called and known by, and hold and use the names
of Joseph B. Perry and William Henry Perry, and by
the said names respectively to sue and be sued in any
court of law or equity.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all secureties,
promises, contracts, assurances, deeds and lawful acts
names of Joseph B. Perry and William Henry Perry,
shall be of the same force and effect, and equally avail
to all intents and purposes, as if the names of Joseph B.
Perry and William Henry Perry had been the original
and proper names of the said Joseph B. Cahall and
William Henry Cahall.
