A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to establish Ma-
gistrates' Courts in the several Counties of tins State,
and to prescribe their jurisdiction, passed March
Eighteen hundred and thirty-six, chapter two hun-
dred and one.
|

|
Fees instead of per
diem.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the first day of June
next, the justices composing the district courts in each
of the election districts of Dorchester county, shall be
entitled to their fees according to the provisions of the
original act to which this is a supplement, instead of
the per diem allowance.

|
Repealing clause.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That all acts and parts of
acts repugnant to or inconsistent with this act, are
hereby repealed.

An act, entitled, an act to make valid a deed therein
mentioned.
|
|
|
Deed confirmed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed of bargain and sale, executed by James
King to Thomas King, on the fifteenth day of January,
eighteen hundred and thirty-eight, and the same day
acknowledged before two justices of the peace, in and
for Allegany county and State of Maryland, and re-
corded in Liber, A. B. number four, folio five hun-
dred and thirty-one, one of the land records of Alle-
gany county, be and the same is hereby confirmed and
made valid, notwithstanding said deed may not be cer-
tified by the takers of the acknowledgment of the same,
as required by the act of December session eighteen
hundred and thirty-one, chapter two hundred and five;
and provided, in all other respects, the act entitled
an act for quieting possessions enrolling conveyances
