ty, and praying a repeal thereof; — Therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act of Assembly, entitled, an act appointing
commissioners for the regulation and improvement of
the village of Hillsborough, in Caroline county, passed
at December session eighteen hundred and twenty-two,
and the several supplements thereto, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to provide for the
public instruction of youth, in Primary Schools,
throughout this State, passed December session, eigh-
teen hundred and twenty-five, chapter one hundred
and sixty-two, so far as the same relates to Frederick
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That hereafter all free white male citizens,
above the age of twenty-one years, having the same
residence and qualifications that are prescribed by the
general election laws of this State, to vote for mem-
bers of the General Assembly, shall be entitled to vote
in all matters relating to the selection of scites for
school houses, and in the election of trustees in the
respective school districts where they reside.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all and every thing
contained in the law to which this is a supplement,
that is contrary to, or inconsistent with the provisions
of this act, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this bill shall not
be construed to extend to any county in this State ex-
cept the county of Frederick.
