An act to authorize the Commissioners of Charlestown,
in Cecil County, to convey to the Trustees of the Pres-
byterian Congregation, a lot, or parcel of land, in the
Town aforesaid.

1839.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Charlestown are hereby
authorised to convey in fee simple to the trustees of
the Presbyterian congregation, all that lot or parcel
of land situate in Charlestown aforesaid, on which the
Presbyterian meeting house is erected.

An act authorising surveys in certain suits now pending
in Baltimore County Court.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Baltimore county court shall be, and
they are hereby authorised to issue to the sheriff and
and surveyor of Carroll county in this State, all such
orders and to make the necessary rules, to enforce the
same, as they may from time to time, find to be neces-
sary for all such surveys as may be applied for by
either party, in any action now depending in said
court, and which was instituted In the same at any
time prior to the establishment of Carroll county, to
recover, or relating to, any real estate in that part of
the latter county, which was before, a portion of Balti-
more county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That said sheriff and sur-
veyor of Carroll county, shall be equally bound to ex-
ecute any orders for surveys as aforesaid, as if the
same had been legally issued by Carroll county court,
and shall be entitled to the same compensation as if
they had executed said orders from Carroll county
court.
