affirmation, twelve and a half cents; issuing warrant
and making docket entry, twenty-five cents; issuing
summons, including all the witnesses applied for at the
same time, twenty-five cents; rendering judgment on
all trial cases, one dollar; entering judgment by con-
fession, fifty cents; entering continuance, twelve and a
half cents, to be paid by the party applying for the
same, provided objection be made by the opposite
party; taking supersedeas, twenty-five cents; filing
and entering supersedeas, if taken by other justices of
the peace, twenty-five cents; search or transcript from
docket, twelve and a half cents; taking recognizance,
fifty cents; issuing writs of replevin, fifty cents; issu-
ing writ of attachment, fifty cents; issuing execution,
fifty cents; issuing scicri facias, fifty cents; taking re-
plevin or other bonds, fifty cents.

An act to condemn and make public L Alley, in the City
of Baltimore.
|

|
Alley defined.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Alley running from the east side
of Frederick street, eastwardly towards Marsh Market
space, in the city of Baltimore, and the alley running
southwardly towards Pratt street, between Frederick,
and Marsh Market space aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby condemned, and shall hereafter be held and

taken as one public Alley, and shall be designated as
heretofore by the name of L Alley, and as such public
Alley, shall be subject to all laws and ordinances relat-
ing to streets, lanes and alleys, in the city of Balti-
more; provided nevertheless, that this act shall be of no
effect until approved by the Mayor and city Council of
Baltimore.
