CHAPTER 250.

Passed Mar. 27,
1839.

An act for the relief of William W. Handley of Dorches-
ter County.

Release.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That William W. Handley, of Dorchester county, be,
and he is hereby released from the payment of the fine
imposed in the cause of the State of Maryland against

Proviso.

William W. Handley; provided nevertheless, that the
said William W. Handley shall pay all the fees, due
to the witnesses and officers of Dorchester county court,
which accrued in the prosecution of said writ.

CHAPTER 251.

Passed Mar. 26,
1839.

An act for the relief of Sarah Barnett and her children,
of Washington County.

Empowered to ful-
fill agreement.

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland That Sarah Barnett, of Washington county,
be, and she is hereby fully authorised and empowered,
to carry into effect the agreement made and concluded
between her, the said Sarah Barnett, of the one part,
and John Rodebaugh and William Vonderaw, trustees
of Jacob Vonderaw of Franklin county, Pennsylvania,

And convey pro-
perty.

of the other part, by convoying all the right, title, in-
terest and estate, as well of herself as of her children,
in and to the lands mentioned and described in the said
agreement, to the purchasers named therein, according
to the force, form and effect of the covenants of the
said Sarah Barnett, in the said agreement contained.

Shall account to
proceeds.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That Sarah Barnett,
shall account for the proceeds of said sale, to the
Orphan's Court of Washington county, by whom a
distribution shall be made among her children, of the
portion thereof, to which they are in right of their
father, John Barnett,, entitled, and that the distribu-
tive portions of the said proceeds, which shall be de-
clared by the said court, in favor of Washington Bar-
nett and John Barnett, infant heirs of the said John
Barnett deceased, shall be applied, secured or invested
