and perform all the duties required by law to be per-
formed by the levy court of said county and the com-
missioners of tax, and no appointment of justices of
the levy court shall hereafter be made.

Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That not less than thee
of business, any two of whom may decide upon all mat-
ters coming before them: but the concurrence of three
of said commissioners shall be necessary in directing

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That the said commis-
sioners shall meet on the first Monday of April annu-
ally, and shall continue to sit from day to day, for one
week, for the transaction of such business as may be
brought before them, and shall also have power to ad-
journ from time to time, and sit such number of days
as may be necessary for the discharge of all the duties
required of them.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That all suits at law, or
inequity, which may be pending at the time of the
passage of this act, in which the levy court of Mont-
gomery county are parties, shall be carried on in like
manner, and have the same effect and operation in law
as if the commissioners appointed by this act had been
one of the original parties to said suit or suits.

Sec. 12, And be it enacted, That all acts of Assembly
which are contrary to, or inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this act, be, and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
