CHAP. 74.

A supplement to the act of December session eighteen hun-
dred and thirty-two, chapter one hundred and ninety-
seven.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the day of the passage of
this act, an appeal shall lie in any of the cases mentioned in
the act to which this is a supplement, without a previous
application to the judges of the Court of Appeals, or any
one of them, as required by the said act, and said appeal
shall stand for hearing at the next term of the Court of
Appeals, after the same shall have been entered, and not

before; provided the record be transmitted to the said court
at least thirty days before the commencement thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts and parts of
acts, inconsistent with the above provisions, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 74.
|

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to incorporate the town
of Boonsboro' and the several additions thereto.
|

8, 1844.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the bounds of the town of Boonsboro' be
and the same are hereby extended, so as to embrace the
space of three fourths of a mile square, the centre of
which shall be the centre of what is now commonly known
and called in said town as the square, and whose lines shall
be parallel to the lines of the said square.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, And it is hereby made the
duty of the sheriff of Washington county, to receive and
safe keep, in the jail of said county, all persons who shall
be committed by the burgess or commissioners of said town
to said jail, fora breach or violation of any of the ordinan-
ces of the corporation of Boonsboro', according to the
tenor of such commitment, and in the same manner and
under the same regulations as persons committed for a
breach or violation of any of the laws of this State.
