. An act for the benefit of the heirs of Thomas H. Marshall,
late of Charles County, deceased.
|
Court empow-
ered.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Orphan's Court of Charles county, be and are here-
by authorised and empowered to allow, the administrator or
administrators of Thomas H. Marshall, late of said county,
to keep together, manage and cultivate the estate of the said
Thomas H. Marshall, deceased, until the debts are paid or
so long as said court may deem proper, if in their judge-
ment they shall believe such management of the estate will
be beneficial to the Heirs of the said deceased, and not
injurious to the lights of creditors—and the court shall
also have power to revoke this permission at any time it
may deem proper, provided that the said administrator or
administrators, as the case may be, give bond to the State
of Maryland, in a penally to be prescribed by, and with
surety to be approved by the said orphans court, conditioned
for the proper application by the said administrator or
administrators, of the rents, issues and profits of said
estate.

An act giving further time to Thomas Dowden, late sheriff
of Allegany County, to complete his collections.
|
Time allowed.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the authority and powers granted to
Thomas Dowden, late sheriff of Allegany county, or to any
other person or persons by him appointed for that purpose,
to institute suits and other legal proceedings for the recovery
and collection of all sums and balances due him as said
sheriff of Allegany county, by an act entitled "an act for
the relief of Thomas Dowden, late sheriff of Allegany
county, and to enable him to complete his collections, "
passed at December session eighteen hundred and forty-one,
chapter twelve, be and the same are hereby extended until
the first clay of April in the year eighteen hundred and
