RESOLUTIONS.

 

jamin E. Gantt, assistant clerk, Joseph H. Nicholson
chief clerk of the senate, and John N. Watkins, assist-
ant clerk, or to their order, each the sum of one hundred
dollars; and to Harry D. Gough, Otho Shipley, John W.
Rider, Robert W. Carter and William W. Lecompte, com-
mittee clerks of the house of delegates; Joheph N. Gor-
don, jr. and Woolman J. Gibson, committee clerks of the
senate, or to their orders, each the sum of fifty dollars;
and William B. Tabler, door-keeper of the house of dele-
gates and Levin J. M. P. Broadwater, sergeant-at-arms,
of the house of delegates, or their oiders, each the sum
of fifty dollars, as an extra compensation for their labours
during the present session of the general assembly.

Resolution in favor of J. A. Magruder, Captain of the
Potomac Riflemen in Washington county.

Resolved by the General Assembly cf Maryland, That
the Adjutant General furnish J. A. Magruder Captain of
the Potomac Riflemen in Washington county fifty Cart-
ridge Boxes, fifty Flasks and fifty Knapsacks; provided,
that he give security for the safe keeping and return of
the same; provided, if they are now in the Armory.

Resolution in favor of William H. Watson.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General, be and he is hereby directed to
furnish to the order of Captain William H. Watson, one
hundred while waist belts, and twenty-five sergeants
swords, for the use of the Independent Blues, of the city
of Baltimore, upon the usual conditions.

Resolution in favor of those members of the legislature,
who may be detained at the seat of Government by
sickness.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
