CHAP. 319.
Provisoes.

day of November, eighteen hundred and forty-one; provi-
ded, the said orders, or either of them, have not yet been
paid, and are known to be due; and provided further,
that the commissioners of said county direct the treasu-
rer to pay the same.

 

CHAPTER 317.

Passed March
9, 1844.

An act providing for the building of a Watch-House in
the town of Havre-de-Grace.

Commission-
ers to levy.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Harford county, be and are
hereby authorized, to levy a sum of money (not ex-
ceeding the sum of two hundred dollars,) on the taxable
property of said county, for the purpose of building a
watch-house in the town of Havre-de-Grace; provided
they deem it expedient so to do.

 

CHAPTER 318.

Passed March
9, 1844.

An act relating to the collection of county taxes in Howard
District.

Repealed.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, an act enti-
tled, an act supplemental to an act entitled, an act to re-
gulate the municipal government of Howard District of
Anne Arundel county, passed at December session eigh-
teen hundred and forty, chapter five, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

 

CHAPTER 319.

9, 1844.

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to incorporate the
Washington Beneficial Society of Baltimore, passed at
December session eighteen hundred and thirty-three,
chapter one hundred and twenty-eight.
