An act to allow the clerk of Howard District Court, fur-
ther time to send up to the Court of Jlppeals, a record
therein mentioned.
|
|
Time allowed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time for sending up the transcript of the record
of the cause which was tried and determined in Howard
District Court, at March term eighteen hundred and forty-
three, on the allegations of Charles D. Warfield against Dr.
Howes Goldsborough, a petitioner for the benefit of the
acts passed for the relief of insolvent debtors, and on which
cause an appeal has been prayed by the said Goldsborough,
be and the same is hereby extended to the first day of May
next, and when the transcript shall have been so sent up, the
Court of Appeals shall proceed to hear and determine said
appeal in like manner as if the said transcript had been
sent up within the time prescribed by law.

An act to repeal an act passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-two, chapter two hundred and one.
|
|
Repealed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act entitled an act to close a road therein men-
tioned, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
forty-two, chapter two hundred and one, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

An act to preserve the ducks in Sassafras, Elk and Bohemia
Riven.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Jissembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act, no
person shall at any place within the waters of Sassafras,
Elk or Bohemia Rivers or any of the creeks or branches
