An act to change the name of John Woodland Crisfield,
in/ant son of John W. Crisfield, of Somerset County,
to Henry Page.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the name of
John Woodland Crisfield, infant son of John W. Cris-
field, of Somerset county, be, and the same is hereby
changed to the name of Henry Page; and by said name
he shall hereafter be called and known, sue and be sued;

Proviso.
|
provided, nothing herein contained shall alter or abridge
any legal right to which said infant might otherwise be
entitled, and all securities, devisees and bequests in his
behalf, and all estates to which he is, or may become en-
titled by descent, purchase or otherwise, shall vest in him,
be preserved and transmitted as if his name had never
been changed.

An act for the relief of Primary Schools in Howard Dis-
trict.

and determine
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Court of Appeals for the Western Shore, be, and
they are hereby authorized and required during their pre-
sent session to hear and determine the second appeal ta-
ken by Thomas Burgess, collector of primary school tax-
es from a judgment of Howard District Court rendered
against him at the suit of Arthur Pue, jun'r. and which
appeal is now depending in said court.
