CHAPTER 106.

An act supplementary to an act entitled, An act to provide for
the repairing or rebuilding a certain Bridge therein men-
tioned, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
forty, chapter one hundred and twenty-one.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
that the amount of money authorised to be levied upon the
assessable property of Anne Arundel and Prince George's
counties, by the act to which this is a supplement for the
repair or rebuilding of the Priests Bridge, is found to be in-
sufficient for the purposes therein specified; and whereas
additional work has been done under the advice and super-
intendence of the commissioners appointed by the act afore-
said; therefore:

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Anne Arundel county, and the
levy court of Prince George's county, are hereby author-
ised and empowered to assess and levy a sum of money,
not exceeding two hundred dollars on the assessable pro-
perty of their respective counties, at the time of laying their
next county rates, as an additional compensation to Richard
Redmiles for rebuilding the bridge over the Patuxent river
generally known as the Priests Bridge.
