said clerks for newspapers furnished the members of the
legislature during the present session, and that he also pay
the amount for postage upon letters forwarded and received
by said clerks, relative to the duties of their respective offi-
ces during the present session of the legislature.

Resolution in favor of the Rev. Mr. Winslow and the Rev.
Mr. Merriken.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay the Rev. Mr
Winslow and the Rev. Mr. Merriken, each, one hundred
dollars for their services as Chaplains.

Resolution in favor of Gilbert Murdock, Junior.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be and he is hereby
authorized and required to pay to Gilbert Murdock, jr. fifty
dollars, out of any money unappropriated in the Treasury,
for services rendered to the House of Delegates.

Resolution in favor of the Printers of the House.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
his Excellency, the Governor, be authorized to settle with
the printer of this house for such reports, &c. as have been
ordered to be printed by the house, and not yet received,
and that the printer be directed to forward the same by
mail, together with the balance of the, journal of proceed-
ings to the members of the legislature, the postage of the
same to be paid by the Treasurer of the Western Shore.
