Resolution relating to the Treasurer elect.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer elect, before proceeding to act in the office
to which he has been elected, shall give bond in the sum
of two hundred thousand dollars, in the manner and form
prescribed by the act of November session eighteen hun-
dred and one, chapter sixty-six.

Resolution in favor of Samuel Kirby.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer pay to Samuel Kirby, Sergeant at Arms of
this house, fifty dollars, out of any unappropriated money
in the treasury.

Resolution in favor of certain members of the Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the western shore pay to such members
of the Legislature as may he detained at the seat of go-
vernment by sickness, four dollars per day during such de-
tention.

Resolution in favor of John II. T. Magruder.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the western shore pay out of any money
in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to John H. T.
Magruder, the sum of one hundred dollars, as compensation
for labor clone and services rendered under resolution num-
