SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be and it is
hereby made the duty of the clerk of the county aforesaid
to attend at and during the term of the special court by this
act created, who shall make due and proper entry of all the
proceedings of the court aforesaid.

CHAP. 267.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it is hereby made the
duty of the Sheriff of said county to attend said court and
execute all orders of said court which he may be command-
ed by the said judge to carry into effect.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
clerk of Allegany county court to make return to the legisla-
ture of this state within twenty days from and after the com-
mencement of the same, in each and every year, of the
number of days which said judge or judges may attend the

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That any one of the judges
of Allegany county court shall have full power to pass a
final order of ratification of any sale made by any trustee
or trustees under and by virtue of any decree, made by
Allegany county court, as a court of equity, when the time
shall have arrived under the order of ratification nisi, for
the passage of such final order, although the said court
shall not be then in session.

SEC. G. And be it enacted, That any one of said judges
shall have full power in all plain cases, where no objections
are filed, to ratify and confirm the report of the auditor of
said court distributing the proceeds of any such sale,
amongst creditors or heirs at law, or other persons entitled
to receive the same as the case may be, although the said
court may not at the time of passing such order of ratifica-
tion be in session.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall go into
operation from and immediately after its passage.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of
Allegany county be and they are hereby authorized to levy
upon the assessable property of said county what sum they
may deem proper as a compensation for extra services im-
posed upon said judge or judges by this act.

CHAPTER 267.

 

A supplement to the act entitled, An act to incorporate the
Stockholders of the Farmer's and Merchant's Bank
of Baltimore, passed at December session eighteen hun-
dred and ten, chapter seventy-seven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the capital stock of the Farmer's and
