CHAPTER 226.

CHAP. 228.

An act relative to Swine going at large in the Town of Bla-
densburg, in Prince George's County.

Passed Feb.
24, 1843.

Belt enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed at December session seventeen hun-
dred and ninety-one, chapter twenty-seven, entitled, An act
to prevent Swine from going at large in the town of Bla-
densburg, in Prince George's county and the supplement
thereto, passed at November session eighteen hundred and
four, chapter twenty-two, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.

Repealed.

CHAPTER 227.

 

An act to make valid a deed from Isaac Bowen, of Calvert
county, to James B. Dixon, also of said county.

Passed Feb.
22, 1843.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed executed on the eighth day of December, in
the year eighteen hundred and forty-one, by Isaac Bowen,
of Calvert county, under a power of Attorney from Philip
Mannear and Agatha Mannear, of Pickaway county, Ohio,
and Billingsley Bowen, Elizabeth Bowen and Mary Games,
of Ross county, Ohio, to Isaac Bowen, of Calvert county,
be and the same is hereby confirmed, and made as valid
and effectual in law, for all purposes whatsoever, as fully
as if the power of attorney under which the said deed was
executed had been executed and acknowledged according
to the laws of this State.

Made valid.

CHAPTER 228.

 

An act to regulate the per diem of certain Civil Officers and
reduce the expenses in Washington County.

Passed Feb.
24, 1S43.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the per diem of each of the Judges of the
Orphan's Courts of Washington county shall hereafter be
two dollars instead of their present allowance by law.

Judges to re-
ceive $2 per
