A supplement to an act entitled, An act to abolish Magis-
trate's Courts in Dorchester County, and to ex/end the
jurisdiction of a single Jus/ice of the Peace in said coun-
ty, passed December session eighteen hundred and forty-
one, chapter one hundred and twenty-seven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That by the true construction of the third sec-
tion of said act, a single justice of the peace has power to
issue execution on all judgments authorized to be rendered
by a single justice under said section, and all executions
heretofore issued in virtue of said section, and all proceed-
ings in lawful execution thereof, are hereby confirmed and

^ec. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the clerk of the county court to issue execution on the ap-
plication of the proper party on any judgment, on the (lock-
ets returned to his office, under the fourth section of said
act, returnable to the said court in the usual form.

hereby re-enacted and continued in force to the last Monday
of December next, and to the end of the session of the general
