Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That Jacob Mullendore, John

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act be
construed, so as to authorize the said corporation to issue
any note, token, device, scrip or other evidence of debt, to
be used as currency.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this act of incorporation
shall inure for thirty years from its passage, and that the
legislature reserves to itself the right to alter or annul this
act of incorporation at pleasure.

CHAPTER 101.

An act to provide for the more convenient Collection of the
Taxes in Prince George's County, by dividing said Coun-
ty into Collection Districts.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Prince George's county be, and the same
is hereby divided into two districts for the collection of the
county taxes, as follows, to wit: all that part of said county

lying east and north of the stage road from Washington in
the District of Columbia to Upper Marlborough, and thence
by the public road to Mount Pleasant Ferry, shall constitute
and be designated as collection district number one; and all
the rest of said county, shall constitute and be designated as
collodion district number two; provided, that the town of
Upper Marlborough shall form a part of collection district
number two.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That at the usual time of lay-
ing the county levy in the year eighteen hundred and forty-
two, and annually thereafter, it shall be the duty of the levy
court of said county, to appoint two collectors of the county
tax, one of whom shall reside in each of the said districts,
