KENT COUNTY—Chief judges of magistrates courts to

papers, &c. all writs in the hands of officers

   

issued by said courts, to return the same to

   

some justice of the peace, to take proceed-

   

ings on as if originally issued by a siugle

justice.

To return dockets to clerk of the county,

   

duty of clerk on application to make out

   

copy of judgment, upon which any justice

   

may issue execution, &c. and upon applica-

   

tion to issue execution on all judgments di-

   

rected to the sheriff and returnable as if the

   

same had been originally recorded in said

   

court.

Writs issued by said courts, in the hands

   

of sheriff, &c. to be returned to next succeed-

   

ing term of said county court, to be docket-

   

ed, &c.

Single justices in, to have cognizance of

   

cases not exceeding $100 exclusive of costs,

   

when the debt exceeds $50, to charge dou-

   

ble fees, &c. right of appeal allowed.
