BANKS. If any bonk shall execute or put in circu-

   

lation any post note or other obligation, pur-

   

porting on its face to be payable otherwise

   

than on demand in gold and silver, charter to

   

be forfeited, &c.

In all cases where scire facias is issued,

   

&c, county courts or any judge in the recess

   

authorized to issue injunction, &c. to appoint

   

a receiver if deemed necessary, &c.

If upon return of scire facias it. shall ap-

   

pear that the bank named in the writ has re-

   

fused to pay in specie, charter to be adjudg-

   

ed forfeited, court to appoint their trustees,

   

upon recommendation in writing of one-fifth

   

of the creditors in amount to settle up the

   

affairs of the bank, &c.
