No. 38.
Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to sell at Pub-
lic Auction certain damaged military articles, &c.
Resolved by the General. Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General be and he is hereby authorized and di-
rected to sell at public auction, such damaged military arms,
stores, and so forth, now lying in the State gun house at An-
napolis, as he may deem expedient, and that the proceeds
of such sales be deposited in the treasury of the western
shore, subject to his official order, for the purchase of suit-
able harness for the brass pieces of ordnance in the use of
the Annapolis Artillerists, and also for the purpose of repair-
ing and fitting up said gun house as an armory for the uni-
formed volunteer companies of Annapolis.

No. 39.
Resolution in favor of Captain John Archer.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General of this State, be and he is hereby au-
thorized and required to furnish Captain John Archer of the
Cecil Volunteers, with forty-five muskets and accoutre-
ments to match, on his giving bond for the safe keeping and
return of the same.

Resolution in favor of Capt. J. J. Daneker.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General be and he is hereby directed to furnish
to Captain J. J. Daneker, for the use of the First Baltimore
Light Infantry, sixty muskets with the necessary accoutre-
ments to match, on condition that the said Captain J. J.
Daneker give sufficient security for the safe keeping and
return of the same to the Adjutant General; provided, the
said J. J. Daneker shall first return to the Adjutant General
all arms and accoutrements in his possession which belong
to the State.
