No. 29.
Resolution authorizing the Governor to pay the State's
Deputy Attorney for his services, &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor, be and he is hereby authorized to make such
reasonable compensation to be paid upon his requisition, out
of any unappropriated money in the treasury, to I. Nevitt
Steele, deputy of the attorney general, for the argument of
the cases coming up to December term, eighteen hundred
and forty-one, of the court of appeals, under the act of As-
sembly passed at April session eighteen hundred and forty-
one, chapter twenty-three, as to him may seem just and pro-
per, in lieu of the legal fees taled in said cases.

No. 30.
Resolution in relation to the over issue of State Bonds by
the Commissioner of Loans.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioner of loans of Maryland, was not authorized
to issue State bonds, to a greater amount than one hundred
and twenty thousand dollars, in virtue of the third section of
the act of Assembly of eighteen hundred and thirty-eight,
chapter three hundred and eighty-six, and the excess of
bonds so issued, be cancelled and burned by the committee
appointed in pursuance of Resolution Number eight, passed
at December session eighteen hundred and forty.

Resolution requesting the Governor to comply with Resolu-
tion No. 3, of December session, 1835.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
His Excellency the Governor, proceed to comply with re-
solution number three of December session, eighteen hun-
dred and thirty-five.
