1841.

No. 18.

Resolution authorizing the State Commissioner of Loans
to issue Bonds, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioner of loans, be and he is hereby authorized
and required to issue certificates of stock to the claimants
of the eastern shore rail road, of a less denomination than
one hundred dollars, so as to suit their respective claims;
provided, that said creditors produce the award of the com-
missioners appointed to settle up the affairs of said road.

No. 19.

Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to furnish
Captain John W. Watkins, with arms, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the adjutant general furnish to Captain John Wesley Wat-
kins, of the First Mechanical Volunteers of the city of Balti-
more, forty muskets, cartouch boxes, belts and bayonets
each with scabbards to match, on condition of the said
Captain John Wesley Watkins, giving sufficient security
for the safe keeping and return of the same to the adjutant
general.

No. 20.

Resolution authorizing the Adjutant General to furnish
Captain William D. Roberts, with arms &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the adjutant general, be directed to furnish to Captain Wil-
liam D. Roberts, of the La Fayette Volunteers of Baltimore,
fifty muskets, with accoutrements to match, on condition
that the said Captain William D. Roberts, give sufficient
security for the safe keeping and return of the same to the
adjutant general.
