Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the duties heretofore
performed by the judge of the land office of the eastern
shore, from and after the passage of this act, be performed
by the Chancellor of this State; and the said Chancellor be
and he is hereby required to perform and execute all and
singular the duties, which under existing laws, are now per-
formed by the judge of the land office of the eastern shore.
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all laws and resolutions
inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

An act to confirm an act, to alter and amend the Constitu-
tion of this Stale.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
an act entitled, an act to alter and amend the constitution of
this State, passed April sixth, eighteen hundred and forty-
one, chapter fifty-five, be and the same is hereby confirmed.

An act for the relief of Thomas M. D. Baden, former
Collector of Taxes, of Prince George's County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time allowed Thomas M. D. Baden, former col-
lector of taxes in Prince George's county, by the act of
December session, eighteen hundred and forty, chapter one
hundred and ninety-four, be and the same is hereby extend-
ed to the first day of December, eighteen hundred and for-
ty-two.
