moned on the regular pannel of jurors to the county court
of Worcester county, shall be entitled to receive for each
and every day in which he shall attend as juror, the sum
of two dollars, and in addition thereto, an allowance of six
and a quarter cents per mile For every mile, that his place
of residence may be distant from the place of holding the
county court of Worcester county, that is to say, that for
one day coming, and one day to return from court and no'
more, to be levied, collected and paid, in the same manner,
and at the same time with his per diem allowance, and he
shall be entitled to receive mileage for two days only that
such juror shall attend the court.

CHAP. 300.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That each and every witness
hereafter to be summoned to attend the Worcester county
courts, shall be entitled to receive for each day in which
he, or she may attend as a witness, the sum of seventy five
cents, and in addition thereto an allowance of four cents
per mile for every mile that his or her place of residence
shall be distant from the places of holding the courts in
Worcester county, and to be levied, collected and paid, in
the same manner, and at the same time with his or per diem
allowance, and lie or she shall be entitled to receive mileage
for each and every day such witness shall attend the court.
Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That nothing contained in this
act shall be construed to allow any witness mileage in re-
turning to his or her residence, during the time such witness
shall be required to attend the Worcester county courts.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted further, That the provisions
of this act shall be construed to apply only to the witnesses
residing within the limits of Worcester county, where such
witness shall be summoned to attend.

is a supplement, so far as relates to Worcester county, is
hereby repealed.
