A supplement to an act, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and thirty-seven, chapter three hundred and nine,
and an act passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-eight, chapter two hundred forty-four.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all the remedies which are given by the act of December
session, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, chapter three
hundred and nine, and the act of December session, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-eight, chapter two hundred and
forty-four, or by either of said acts of assembly, be and
they shall apply and extend to every description of proper-
ty and estate, whether real or personal, and to all manner
of title and interest in or to any property or estate, whether
legal or equitable, and that the said acts shall be so con-
strued by all the courts of this State, in all actions now
depending or which may at any time hereafter be instituted
to recover damages under the said acts of assembly or
either of them.

An act to revive and continue an act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Maryland Society, promoting the culture of
the Vine.

|
Whereas, it is represented that a revival and continuance
of the charter of said society, will enable them to dispose
of certain real estate, which belonged to them during the
former existance of their charter, and it appearing reasona-

ble that such facility should be granted—therefore,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act entitled, an act to incorporate the
Maryland Society, For promoting the culture of the vine,
be revived and continued from the expiration of the same,
for and during the term of two years from the passage of
this act, to enable them in their corporate name, to dispose
of all the real and personal estate, belonging or in any wise
appertaining to said society, and to settle finally, all the con-
cerns of said company, the same as if said act had not ex-
pired.
