An act to make valid the proceedings of Philip Gore, as a
Trustee of the Peace and as Justice of the District Court
of the sixth Election District of Carroll County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the acts and proceedings of Philip Gore as a jus-
tice of the peace of Carroll county, and also as a justice of
the district court of the sixth election district of said coun-
ty, had and done between the first day of January and the
first day of August in the year eighteen hundred and forty,
he and are hereby declared to be as valid and binding in law
is if the said Philip Gore had not resigned his commission
as justice of the peace and justice of the district court of the
sixth election district of said county, until the said first day
of August, eighteen hundred and forty-one.

CHAPTER 252.

An act to make valid a certain Deed therein mentioned.
|

5, 1842.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland;
That the deed or instrument of writing from William West
of Maskingum county, in the State of Ohio, to a certain
Hugh Ely of Baltimore county, in the State of Maryland,
bearing date on the third day of April in the year eighteen
hundred and forty-one, be and the same is hereby declared
valid for the purposes of conveying all the estate, real, per-
sonal and mixed of him the said William West, to the said
Hugh Ely, as if the said deed and acknowledgment had
been in all respects in accordance with the laws of this
State.
