Divisional
line.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the road so laid out and
returned as aforesaid, the said new road shall be the divi-
sion line between the counties of Worcester and Somerset,
any law, usage or custom to the contrary notwithstanding.

An act to establish Magistrates Courts, in Prince George's
County.

Act revived,
etc.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all such parts of the act to establish ma-
gistrates courts in the several counties of this State, and to
prescribe their jurisdiction, passed December session eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-five, chapter two hundred and one,
and of the supplements thereto, and amendments thereof
as were in force and operation in Prince George's county
at the commencement of March session, eighteen hundred
and forty-one, be and the same are hereby revived and re-
enacted, and shall have the same effect and operation in said
county as if the act of March session, eighteen hundred
and forty-one, chapter twenty-nine, had not passed with the
provisions and exceptions hereafter mentioned to wit: first,
the justices of the said courts shall not be entitled to any
per diem allowance for their services, but shall be entitled
to the fees that may be received by them in the discharge
of their duties, and said fees are hereby increased fifty per
centum on the present charges; second, the county court
shall have concurrent jurisdiction in all cases of which the
said magistrates courts had jurisdiction by the said original
act and supplements, and which were not before within the
jurisdiction and cognizance of a single justice of the peace,
and any plaintiff or plaintiffs may sue and recover in all such
cases, either in the county court or in the proper district
court.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall go into
operation on the first day of May next, and the justices of
said courts shall thereafter be appointed as provided for
when the said original act was repealed.
