An act to grant to John W. Walker, late Sheriff of Balti-
more County, further time to complete his Collections.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the time limited by law within which the late sheriff of Bal-
timore county, shall have made his collections, be and the
same is hereby extended to the first day of October, in the
year one thousand eight hundred and forty-five.

An act to allow James A. Waddle, late Sheriff and Collec-
tor of Dorchester County, further time to complete his
Collections.

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the time for the collection of officers fees, county levy,
chancery taxes, fines and forfeitures, and all other sums, that
may be due and owing to James A. Waddle, as late sheriff
and collector of Dorchester county, be and the same is here-
by extended to the first day of April, in the year eighteen
hundred and forty-three, and that within that time the said
James A. Waddle and his deputies, shall have as full power

and authority to collect said dues as if his time of office had
not expired; provided, that the said James A. Waddle, shall
in every case before he proceeds to execute for any of said
fees, make out a fair account thereof, with an affidavit an-
nexed, that they are due, and that neither nor any person
for him, hath received any part of, or security for the
same.
