To resume
maiden name

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Sarah A. Dove,
be and she is hereby authorized to lake her maiden name
Sarah Ann Brereton.

An act for the benefit of the German Reformed and Ger-
man Lutheran Congregation, in Frederick County, there-
in mentioned, and for other purposes.

To sell and
convey six
acres, etc.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for Conrad
Michael and John Ricker of the German Reform Church,
and Adam Coogle and Jacob Palmer of the German Lu-
theran Church, in Frederick county, to sell and convey six
acres of land called Second Choice in said county, which
was deeded to the aforesaid churches, by a certain Phillip
Rodenpeller, on the twenty-eighth day of September,
seventeen hundred and eighty-six, excepting however from
the operation of this act that part of said land on which the
church is built and the grave yard, and such parts as may
be most beneficial to the use, of said church and grave
yard.

Proceeds to
be divided

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the monies arising from
the sales hereby authorized to be made, shall be equally di-
vided between and paid over to the elders and deacons of
the aforesaid churches, and the same shall be disposed of
in such manner and to such uses as the said congregation
shall respectively determine upon.

To convey to
purchaser.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That upon the full payment
of the amount of sales made under this act, the said Conrad
Michael and John Rocker, of the German Reform Church,
and Adam Coogle and Jacob Palmer, of the German Lu-
theran Church or their survivor, shall by a deed properly ac-
knowledged and recorded, convey and assure to the pur-
chaser or purchasers, the right and title of the aforesaid
congregation or churches, in and to the part of the tract of
land hereby authorized to be sold.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That nothing contained in
this act shall be so construed to authorize the sale of that
part of the aforesaid lands on which the church is erected,
or any of the ground used as burying ground.

the trustees
of primary
school No. 7.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That one half acre of said
land authorized to be sold by the first section of this act,
to be sold to the trustees of the primary school in said
school district, number seven, called Hazel Bottom being
