An act to authorise the County Commissioners of St. Ma-
ry's County to repair the County Jail.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners for St. Mary's county are hereby
authorised and directed to levy upon the assessable proper-
ty of said county such sum of money as they may deem
necessary, to repair the public jail in said county, and said
commissioners are hereby further authorised and directed
to adopt such mode to accomplish that object as they may
deem most expedient.
